EVERY SHARED SPACE SHOULD TELL A STORY

AND BE A WORLD OF ITS OWN

From a village pub in Yorkshire to a guesthouse in California, woodland cabins on the edge of Exmoor to stores rolling out across America — our commercial work is as varied as it is personal. Like so many of our clients, our commercial relationships rarely end with one project — these are ongoing collaborations built on trust and a shared creative vision, and they are often some of our most personal and exciting work.

From the Varley stores — a project that began with the home of our good friends Ben and Lara and has since rolled out across London and the USA — to the woodland cabins at Cove Valley and the guest houses of Atlanta Trevone on the Cornish coast, these have become some of our most celebrated commissions.

Shared spaces give us the freedom to be bolder — to build a world from scratch and invite people into it. Whether it's imagining the eccentric sea captain who might have lived in a Cornish Net Loft, or the ranch-style living that inspired three woodland cabins in Devon, narrative is at the heart of everything we do. A space with a strong sense of character stays with you.
